I have harboured the ambition of breaking into the animation industry for many years and just when I was on the brink of throwing in the towel, I applied for yet another position as a runner and then was delighted to be contacted and ask if I could help out for a week within the Facilities dept, helping with some alterations the company (Aardman) was doing.
It was great to work for a company that I had long admired even though it was very short lived

I feel I made some contacts so fingers crossed for the future

The moral of the story is persistence, persistence, and more persistence.
